Claire Shackelford

Claire earned her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in community and non-profit organizing from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Claire’s husband Bryan served in the Army until an accident in training left him unable to continue in his service. Bryan and Claire have four children, one of whom is active Army and has deployed twice, and one of whom is in the reserves. Claire works as a ministry leader with Christian Military Wives, and serves on the board of directors for Christian Military Fellowship. Claire also writes for various military blogs and is a regular contributor at Wives in Bloom, the online magazine for Christian Military Wives.
