Lori Mumford
Lori Mumford currently lives in Juneau, Alaska with her husband and their three children. She keeps busy most of the year homeschooling all three. She enjoys nordic skiing in the winter and running in the summer if not catching that rare day of sunshine for beach play. She’s a graduate of Indiana University in medical technology with a M.S. in anthropology from the University of Oregon. Her husband is a chief petty officer, and they’ve lived the Coast Guard life for 17 years. As he approaches retirement, they continue to trust God in teaching them what is best for them and directing them in the way they should go (Isaiah 48:17-18).

Is this you? I know it must be, how many other Lori Mumford’s could have been med techs and gone through UofO by way of Indiana? I will feel quite silly if you don’t remember me, but am just egotistical enough to believe you will! However, if you do not, I will belive it is because with each child, I know mother’s lose memory cells. That’s why we call the children by each other’s names. I have four, so sometimes I need a nametag to remember my own. I have thought of you many times over the past years and you have a prominent place on my list of “People with whom I wish I had kept in touch.” So if you have a few minutes to reassign (notice I don’t say spare, because I know they are all at a premium when you have kids) I would like to hear from you. Nothing major, just reconnecting. Thinking of you, Lori (remember when our writing was so similar folks at Eugene Clinic couldn’t tell which of us had written?)
